Here is a link to RPMs written for RedHat by Dag Weirs http://dag.wieers.com/packages/checkpassword/ Thanks Dag for the RPMs Thanks to Paul Jarc and the others on this list who have kindly taken their time to help dummies like myself attempt to get Checkpassword compiled and installed. I finally gave up and used an RPM. It is, just use the rpms; they are all patched the right way. Slack works because it probably uses the older glibc still.
