Re: qmail publicfile : need advice

Thanks a LOT for the mails and the extremly great advice.
Well, the reason I plan to use publicfiles is that I don't want any cgi 
programs and dynamic stuff. Also, these are young students majority of whom 
might have just started learning html, so I think publicfiles will be great.
About the ftp server, I think I will try one of the servers suggested by some 
and ignore wu-ftpd and proftpd. Also, I plan to restrict ftp. I will allow 
ftp access only from the scool LAN (this is not fixed yet). As you said shell 
access will certainly be off. qmail will be mail server and djbdns will be 
caching and resolving nameserver. If I put another machine I might have a 
caching http proxy like squid.
