Greetz all, I had a couple of questions mainly regarding the ftpd publicfile daemon. When I connect to ftpd remotely, a listing of my public datastore shows: ftp> dir 200 Okay. 150 Making transfer connection... +i16.2810880,m1038536074,/, pub 226 Success. 33 bytes received in 0.0086 seconds (3.77 Kbytes/s) What in the world is the information printed before the directory name? When I try to go back one directory, it seems to be trying to put me in a subdirectory called ".." of my current directory: ftp> pwd 257 "/pub/linux_apps" ftp> cd .. 250 "/pub/linux_apps/.." ftp> pwd 257 "/pub/linux_apps/.." ftp> dir 200 Okay. 550 Sorry, I can't open that file: file does not exist. ftp> Why this behavior, instead of moving back one directory? TIA for any help. -- Darren Spruell www.sancho2k.net ------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through IMP: http://horde.org/imp/
