You misunderstood me - I was in no way complaining that Dan didn't support it,
just pointing out that although I expected it to, after seeing that is not an
ftp spec, I should have looked at what the applicable RFCs called for in moving
back a directory. Dan's software is opening my eyes to the fact that other (less
correct) software often throws in features we're used to, while djbware sticks
to the bare minimum (and in doing so ups the security of the software.)

I commend Dan for his coding and wish the rest of the big names on the 'net
would take a cue from him. (Vixie, Allman?)
