I have

# ls -l /public/file/djbware.csi.hu/apt/
total 8
drwxr-xr-x  2 root root 4096 Oct 25 13:35 base/
-rw-r--r--  1 root root  498 Oct 25 13:35 index.html
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    7 Oct 25 10:22 RPMS.djbware -> ../RPMS/
lrwxrwxrwx  1 root root    8 Oct 25 10:33 SRPMS.djbware -> ../SRPMS/

Now, if on an apt-get client, I have

rpm	http://djbware.csi.hu apt djbware
rpm-src	http://djbware.csi.hu apt djbware

I get

# apt-get source qmail
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Unable to find a source package for qmail

On the other hand, if I put

rpm    ftp://djbware.csi.hu pub/djbware/apt djbware
rpm-src ftp://djbware.csi.hu pub/djbware/apt djbware

then I get

# apt-get -q source qmail
Reading Package Lists...
Building Dependency Tree...
Need to get 343kB of source archives.

Note that this is not publicfile's ftpd, but vsftpd.
