Note that the OpenBSD daemontools port was removed from the tree on "Tue
Aug 14 21:30:03 2001 UTC (5 years, 6 months ago)" due to "license does
not permit modification, to allow for proper integration in OpenBSD"

I'd remove it and install the standard version, which works fine and was
developed on OpenBSD anyway.  Note also that 3.8 release is no longer
supported (and there were 20 security fix patches released before
support was dropped last November).  For a "new box" I'd install 4.0
stable.

I think I may have had to increase the -d switch to softlimit from the
default.  In any case, I have -d300000 in ftpd/run and -d250000 in
httpd/run (i386 current).
