Hi, without seeing the run file for log I can't really know what is going wrong, but from > [root@localhost root]# /usr/local/publicfile/bin/configure ftp ftplog I deduce, that multilog is running as user ftplog, and that ftplog has no write permission for the directory in which multilog wants to create its log file.
