size of supervise/ !

Dear List,

this box has an axfrdns service setup on a given IP; for some reason we
changed providers and the IP is not available anymore; I forgot to
"down" this service (the box is not in production yet); so supervise has
been trying to "up" this service w/o success for some months now;

the service has been manually "down"ed already;

now look at that:

why is the size of the "directory" supervise so big?
can I just remove and re-create it?
