daemontools-installer missing from debian lenny (6D7-36A)?

 
 
It seems that the great and useful daemontools-installer package is not
listed in the debian lenny package system, although it is still in etch.  I
tried a little do the source compile for the package, but it is putting up
at least a small fight, which has screed me off for the time being.  Has
anyone got this guy to work well in x86 lenny as of yet?  Any special
tricks?
