Does the equivalent of svc -d.  It's a shell wrapper that then uses svc =
to check the status of a process=85hence the =85=85=85.svc-stop: Fatal =
error.

Point is, svc -d doesn't bring it down either, so it's not the script.  =
What will cause a process to not die using svc -d?
