Daemontool-izing MySQL

After attempting it myself, I decided that the brain damage was just a
bit too much.  So I searched for anyone that had managed to make this
work successfully.

I ran across several references on the djbdns, snort-users, debian-devel
and a few other lists where some folks said that they had done it, and
were going to "post to the daemontools list with the details since it
is OT here."

However, I don't see an archive anywhere of the log/daemontools list.

Might anyone have a personal archive of those missives?  Or maybe some
hints of their own?
