tmda-ofmipd under daemontools

I'm trying to set up tmda-ofmipd under daemontools. This is my first time
setting something up this way (not counting qmail where I just followed
directions). Here is what I did:

mkdir /var/log/qmail/tmda-ofmipd
mkdir -p /var/qmail/supervise/tmda-ofmipd/log
chmod +t /var/qmail/supervise/tmda-ofmipd

tmda-ofmipd run file looks like this:
#!/bin/sh
exec /usr/local/src/tmda-0.81/bin/tmda-ofmipd -f -S
/usr/local/src/vmailmgr-vdir.sh -u root

tmda-ofmipd log run file looks like this:
#!/bin/sh
exec /usr/local/bin/multilog t /var/log/qmail/tmda-ofmipd

then I created a symlink to start the service

ln -s /var/qmail/supervise/tmda-ofmipd tmda-ofmipd

The service won't stay up for more than a second though. I went back and
checked to see if my run files had bad line endings or syntax but I didn't
see anything obvious. Can someone point me in the right direction?
