RE: Work around rpm deadlocking with "setlock2"

As far as I can tell this is DJB's official list for all
daemontools issues, so I'll keep posting here.

1) I don't see anything on the cr.yp.to website about these
   annoying messages produced when running daemontools programs
   linked to newish glibc versions (eg with RedHat 9):

   Incorrectly built binary which accesses errno or h_errno directly.

   But if you want a patch for daemontools (or djbdns, or qmail),

2) The setlock2 program I posted last month (to work around bugs
   in rpm) had some bugs, which have since been fixed. I've also
   written an as_user program (based on setuidgid) which sets
   auxilliary groups as well as the primary GID (I needed this
   in order to run a service as a non-root user). If anyone is
   interested in these programs, send me a message and I'll post
   the sources to this list.
