Thanks, Stefan, for responding so quickly. I also had problems with
code like this:
namespace Xyzzy {}
namespace Xyzzy {}
giving warnings like this:
Symbol already defined : definition of [5]Xyzzy at
/home/rmkelly/tmp/synTests/Rmk2.cc:2
previously defined at /home/rmkelly/tmp/synTests/Rmk2.cc:1
There's a long list of similar warnings for any code including GCC's STL
headers and also occasional complaints about undefined symbols.
Since you mentioned unfinished work on symbol lookup, do you think
they're all part of the same unfinished work? If so, I'll just wait
until you can make the developmental stuff optional. Otherwise, I could
submit them as separate problem reports. What's your preference?
