libSynopsis.so installation failure

Hi,

I'm using rev. 1439.

Installation fails for me with
error: can't copy 'build/lib.linux-i686-2.4/lib/libSynopsis.so': doesn't
exist or not a regular file

when i rm setup.cfg, the build completes again without errors:
copying build/temp.linux-i686-2.4/src/lib/libSynopsis.so ->
build/lib.linux-i686-2.4/lib
