Thanks for the report. As I said in one of my previous mails, we switched
the server hosting the mailing lists, and in the process upgraded to
mailman 2.1 . It appears that this switch and re-subscription of list
members incured some unvoluntary changes. I'm sorry for that.

The new passwords will be sent out as a monthly reminder (I haven't figured
out a way to instruct mailman to forcefully send out such reminders).
Meanwhile I removed the 'plain' flag from your membership settings, I hope this
fixes the problem you are experiencing.
