I have no idea what svn is doing here. All the files under .svn are internal
bookkeeping files. My suspicion is that some of the file names conflict with
the stupid rules imposed by the filesystem you happen to use on your windows
box, for example causing two distinct files to suddenly have the same name
or somesuch.

I'll try to get my hands on a windows box to try this myself. The directory
your error is related to is part of the gc library that I have imported from
a vendor branch. I wonder whether this error then has occured to libgc, too.

Owe. At this point it appears your svn database is corrupted, due to the above
error(s).

I'm not sure what to suggest. Can you try updating from a cygwin shell ?
