Not much, I believe. If you have something concerning the Synopsis
'design details' that you want to discuss using UML, by all means, go ahead.

I think this is the wrong question. (I may be misunderstanding your meaning
of 'selected programming languages', though.) We are talking about a C++
compiler frontend, and the questions are all very much algorithmic by nature.
So what are those 'interesting relationships' you'd like to consider by
abstracting away a concrete programming language ?

I didn't say XQuery or QVT are useless. I said they are not on my wishlist.
If you want to work on anything like this, and, hook it up to Synopsis, you
are very welcome !
(However, I can't resist pointing out that I very strongly believe XML to be
the wrong tool for the job. See http://www.rdb.com/demo/XML/ for why.)
