trying to build synopsis for FreeBSD 4.7

Has anyone successfully built synopsis for FreeBSD?
If so, please contact me!

I've installed gcc 3.1
I have gmake available.
Now I'm getting math library errors
Suggestions?

Sorry to seem so lame... I've been pretty much avoiding C coding as 
much as possible since 1988...
for just this sort of reason, truth be told.

p.s. adding
   || defined(__FreeBSD__)
  to line 78 of Synopsis/Parsers/Cpp/ucpp/eval.c solved the previous problem
