Why is this so difficult, can't you create a new tag for it in its own
package, separate from the main .jar? It seems that being able to
add new widgets from other projects easier should be a key goal
with Swixml.

Its short-sighted to say that if you don't want it nobody else should
want it either.

IMHO Levente meant "packages" not in the meaning of java packages. I
assume he considered something like packing the core swing library in
swixml.jar and if you want to use some special layout managers like the
one he mentioned, you have to use, say, swixml-jgoodies.jar additionally.

But I agree with Levente, there has to be some reworking in the swixml
core to achieve this.
