Hi,

I'm the one who started off JRSS(see Gerald's writings below). I'm 80% done before releasing my first alpha up to sourceforge. One thing I would like to enquire is whether I need to seek sixml.org's permission and approval for using their library in my open-source project.

Thanks.

Hello,

If you search sourceforge for you SwixML projects -
surprise, surprise - three upstarts pop up.

  Here's the line-up:

  swixhtml
  --------

Tool that uses the SwiXML-Language to generate a
Swing-like GUI to a XHTML-Page

  Online @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/swixhtml

  JRSS
  ----

A JDK 1.4 Swing-based application powered by Swixml
library(www.swixml.org) that parses and display RSS
feeds pages.

  Online @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/jrss

  Swing-XML Authoring Tool
  ------------------------

Swixat is a Swing-based authoring tool for the quick
and easy development of graphical UI Java
applications. It extends an external XUL library
(SwiXml) to implement a complete MVC framework, and
provides advanced scripting features.

  Online @ http://sourceforge.net/projects/swixat

  Now on to my questions:

Is anyone on the list part of any of these projects?
Can you comment on the status and your plans? If you
share your comments and I will write-up a XUL News
Wire story and promote your iniative/projects.
