as Gareth said, it's not SwixML's job - extending the TabelModel will do
the trick. If you want to set the TabelModel from SwixML, have a look
at the initclass attribute.

BTW: if you are looking for a much better way for sorting tables,
checkout glazedlists at http://publicobject.com/glazedlists.
