Thank you Lutz, I'm very interested. I'm coming from Delphi, rewriting a 
big application in Java. Easy of use is very important to me 
(GridBagLayout scares me). So FormLayout is very important to me.

I was inclined to use Thinlet because the ease of use. But after not 
being answered in the list and after considering its limitations I've
decided to take the Swing route.

I'm watching jdnc too... Their grid is very promissing.
