You could turn on debug messages for all Bochs components with "debug: action=report", but this would flood your log file and might not really help you. Turning on debug messages per device is also possible (e.g. "debug: harddrv=report"), but I cannot tell you which device would produce a helpful output, I have some questions about your configuration: 1. Which Bochs version are you using (2.6 / current SVN) ? 2. Are you able to run Bochs with other disk images? 3. Have you tried to use SeaBIOS instead of the Bochs BIOS? 4. Have you tried to use disk image autodetection by setting C/H/S to 0/0/0 ? 5. Which value do you use for "cpu: ips" ?
