It seems like there is some bug in the SVN. I checked and the last release that worked for 386 is 2.6.7 (at least with legacy bios and VBE graphics). I will investigate the problem and fix in SVN Thanks, Stanislav From: Russ Newberry [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, June 10, 2015 5:10 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Bochs-developers] 386 emulation using Bochs Does anyone have a working config file for Bochs emulating a 386. I found sites describing Cirrus ISA video card, legacy BIOS rom image, setting VGA modes, and compiling Bochs using the --enable-cpu-level=3 switch. I have successfully compiled Bochs using Cygwin and got a cpu-level=3 mode version, I have even made a cpu-level=3 level exe with term interface. But, I can not seem to put the parts together in my bxrc file or my bochsrc.txt file. Everything I compile with cpu-level=3 when launch just displays a blank screen. -russn ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ bochs-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bochs-developers
