Re: How to disable the bochs debugger

You could always start Bochs with -q option which will skip debugger prompt
in the beginning.
But you should be aware that presence of the debugger in the binary already
changes the way system emulation is done and causes ~20-30% slowdown in the
emulation speed.
If you don't plan to run debugger - better to use a binary without debugger
support.

Hello everybody,

whenever I call bochs (version 2.6, which is included in Debian/Jessie), I
get a window with the virtual pc (but the simulation does not start) and a
debugger command line (or a debugger window with the wx gui). The simulation
starts, when I enter "continue". This is annoying. With bochs version 2.4.6
(included in Debian/Wheezy) the simulation starts immediately.

How can I disable the debugger at the start of bochs? Is there an option to
do this?

I appreciate any help or hint. TIA.
