Yes, it is correct.

I don’t see any reason to invent any values of BIST test which Bochs doesn’t perform.

Thanks,

Stanislav

Subject: [Bochs-developers] EDX value after reset

Hi All,

I just compiled 2.6.8 and noticed that the EDX register no longer contains the self test value after reset, is this correct?

       P6 Pentium 486
EDX 000006xxH 000005xxH 000004xxH

The value after reset is 0. Here is my .conf file:

./configure --target=pentium-windows \
            --enable-sb16 \
            --enable-ne2000 \
            --enable-all-optimizations \
            --enable-cpu-level=4 \
            --disable-fpu \
            --enable-pci \
            --enable-x86-debugger \
            --enable-debugger \
            --enable-iodebug \
            --enable-clgd54xx \
            --enable-show-ips \
            --disable-readline \
            --without-x \
            --with-win32 --with-rfb --with-nogui

Many thanks.
