Copyright, etc. and Trade Marks (Offences and Enforcement) Act 2002

Without wishing to restart any discussions that are in any case amply 
covered in the archives, it's worth just noting one detail that has 
so far not been discussed.

The above act contains, inter alia, the following:

"(2) This Act (apart from this section) shall come into force on such 
day as the Secretary of State may by order made by statutory 
instrument appoint, and different days may be appointed for different 
purposes."

The aforementioned Secretary of State has in fact appointed tomorrow, 
20 November 2002, as the date on which the provisions of the Act will 
come into force in the UK.
