Peter,

   Remember when we talk patents, that they are national things and that
particular patent provides no protection in the country I live in. I also
cannot find an equivalent UK patent, which is no surprise given the status
of software patents in the UK. 
  
I also note that the product is used in many Europe and Russia and also note
thet we only have a US patent.
