In particular, nobody has been able to produce a definitive statement from them that they will not. It may well be a simple case of nobody having waved enough money under IBM's nose. IBM is notorious for doing things that can be viewed as damaging their other interests if customers demand it enough (for the canonical example, see their preloading PCs with Windows instead of OS/2); while I do not believe that licensing their software on Hercules would damage their interests - I've certainly spent lots of time and efffort arguing just the opposite! - even if someone were to believe that it did, there's precedent for IBM doing it anyway. ------------------------ Yahoo!
