Permit me to answer questions with questions ---  Suppose the Fish 
charge-for version of the Herc GUI is a reality,  now suppose these same 
folks you describe are suspected of having taken copies of the 
charge-for GUI without payment and use it on their Herc station, all 
with the same lofty goals in mind that you ascribe to their use of the 
IBM sofware stack.   In your opinion, are Hercules users using the 
charge-for GUI without payment software pirates?  How would you want 
other Herc users to act toward such users?  Should they fall over 
themselves to help solve problems such users report having with the 
purloined software?   Would you want your friends to help you in 
establishing if a use is really a  misappropriated use of their friend 
Fish's software?
