Mike, No, unless I'm very much mistaken, he was banned. And, indeed, I still don't find it justified, this despite the fact that he recently sent me a rather, um, hostile e-mail regarding my recent defense of Volker following your tongue-in-cheek comparison. I did answer him point-for-point but have not, as yet, received a reply. I still don't think that anyone should be banned for what they say, even if FUD is involved. The only reason I think that someone should be banned is if they are misusing the board for something like, say, porn advertising as is going on presently on a couple of the low-traffic Hercules boards. As for regulating what is on topic and what is not, were I the King of the Forest, I believe I might be a bit more liberal. But, of course, I'm not and, in any case, that's all a matter of personal preference and my respect for Jay keeps me from making much of an issue of it in any case.
