OT: Is there anyone who can provide me with High Speed Internet?

I have HAD IT with the BRAIN DEAD IDIOTS at Verizon!

As if flagging legitimate incoming emails wasn't bad enough, now they're
flagging legitimate[1] OUTGOING emails as spam!

I can't even send fricking email anymore!

I want off Verizon. The sooner the better.

I don't know who to turn to.

Right now they're charging me $30/month US (approximately) for 3.0 Mbps DSL
(of which I can only get MAYBE 2.5 Mbps on a good day[2]), so I'd need a
provider that could match that price and performance and as far as I know
there isn't one.

I can't afford to spend more money I don't even have.

I seem to recall there being at least one Hercules fan that ran his own ISP
company. Is he still out there? Hello?

Can ANYONE help me? Please?

(and sorry for the completely off-topic post but I'm desperate. I need help.

[1] I'm trying to make arrangement with someone who wants to pay me over
$200 to help him with his Hercules problem, and I can't even reply to the
guy! Talk about PISSED OFF! I'm *beyond* pissed! I'm ready to go postal and
start shooting the first Verizon engineer I come across! (and I don't even
own a gun!)[3]

[2] For a while I was *suppose* to have 7.0 Mbps DSL (they SUPPOSEDLY
upgraded me from 3.0 to 7.0 for about $4 more per month (special offer)),
but in all the time I had it (over a year) I was NEVER able to get more than
*maybe* 4.5 Mbps on a good day, so I dropped it.

[3] But I might just make an exception in this case!
