Oh, wow, nice catch. I didn't get that far, my eyes kind of glaze over reading these things. Here is claim 8: "8. The method according to claim 1, wherein the machine instruction is an instruction of a first computer architecture wherein the machine instruction is fetched and executed by a central processing unit of an alternate computer architecture, the method comprising: interpreting the machine instruction to identify a predetermined software subroutine for emulating the operation of the machine instruction, the predetermined software subroutine comprising a plurality of instructions; and executing the predetermined software subroutine to perform the method for executing the machine instruction." They shouldn't be able to patent this since we were doing exactly this years before the filing, should they? Greg
