Has anyone taken the time to check the website ( http://www.mainframes360.com/ ) Quasar is hosting? 

It appears to be quite ambitious and may become a good starting point for those who wish to learn many of the Mainframe's concepts.

Hopefully, Quazar will also use the site to post links to some of the documentation he discovers while trying Hercules and learning z/OS systems.

If more sites like his existed, perhaps more interest in IBM z/OS systems would be generated among the new generation.

Although there are people on this list who are knowledgable in all
sorts of areas, the list is primarily about the Hercules emulator, and
not the operating systems and application programs that can be run on
it. There are other public lists that specialize in those topics, and
as other have pointed out, there is documentation that comes with the
ADCD, and IBM forums for ADCD discussion. For a start, have a look at
IBM-MAIN:
