quit files

On my MVS/380 system when I type "quit" I
get a whole lot of verbiage about files being
closed, like mvsres that you see here:

but on TK4- I don't get that verbiage.

In both cases I am running a slightly
modified Hercules 3.07.

I couldn't find a configuration parameter
in TK4- that looked different from MVS/380.
Any idea what parameter switches on
the verbiage?

Also, is it possible that without that verbiage
that a "quit" will cause data to be lost because
files are not being flushed properly?
