And I know you don't believe me, but it
is a race condition/bug that is causing
the log file (which is probably a symptom
of a larger problem of failure to close
files cleanly) to be incomplete when the
shutdown is done with a simple "quit".

No application with a "quit" command
should be producing non-deterministic
results. None. At all. Not even applications
that start with the letter "H".
