HHC00936E 0:0E21 CTC: error writing to file E0-69-95-2E-AF-56: No error

 I have been getting this HHC00936E message intermittently after a reboot of the host system (Win10-64) for quite a while now, here are some relevant log entries:

 The LCS interface then becomes inoperative to the guest operating system and cannot be restarted.
 

 Restarting the guest operating system and hercules itself after getting the error above resolve the issue until the next reboot of the host system.
 

 Any ideas on how to fix this HHC00936E 'No error' error message?
