CPU diagnostics

Folks,

 

I noticed tests folder in Hercules sources.  I have some questions for you.
Do they test comprehensive arithmetic instructions like A, S, D, M, etc..?
If yes, which test files?

 

Do they test every instruction like privileged, control, branch, etc?  I
reviewed some test files but they only test some instructions, not all
instructions. 

 

Does anyone have any existing CPU diagnostic tools that IBM engineers
developed?  That is similar like XXDP for PDP-11 and KLAD for PDP-10
processors.
