Jerry,

I am not sure that this is what you have in mind, but before I retired 
one of my main functions was to build a system such as what you 
describe. The environment that this was developed in was a z/VM 
environment where the z/Linux Red Hat guests would run. If this is along 
the lines of what you have in mind, let me know and I can provide 
further details.
