Sheesh, how would we have survived w/o sequence numbers. More than one
person had to sheepishly carry his dropped source deck over to some tab
operator and beg him/her to please sort the cards. In reality, they are
still useful in ISPF with STATS ON.
 
And ZAPs... just plain handy !

That's like asking why would I want to
pollute IFOX00 with the new instructions.

Ideally LG/STG would be built into IFOX
and there be no way of removing them.
SYS1.MACLIB comes closest to that
ideal. The instructions will always be
available.
