There is new version of the editor on the server/VM6 machine -
rocsys.dyndns.org  port 3278
 
Fixes and enhancments
 
1- main logo screen no longer needs a transactin ID
2- FLIST screen - two new keys - PF4 and PF5   (edit/ browse respectively)
place cursor anywhere on line and press either PF4 or PF5
3- BROWSE Screen - enhanced handling of chracter set and display - bug
removed
4 - EDIT SCREEN
 
added support  for CC CC  F/P
added support for  DD  DD
Added support for MM MM F/P
(there was a lot of Logic there - took some time)
 
New command on the command LINE  "RESET"  - will remove all the CC's and
DD's and MM's wherever they may be
NEW COMAND  CAPS ON/OFF
Affects the data and the command line
Comand Line is always UPPER CASE - one exception is the search command '/'
For search command, if caps OFF the  search will be case sensative
 
Small navigation improvements and the logical order of the execution if
there are multiple things to do,
 
Still no file output but at ths rate I think I can do that in the next  pre
release,
 
Appears to be stable - bit I haven't really banged it around yet.
 
Older commands still work (hopefully) 
 
cms/cp commands ae available on the command line both ed and FLIST
 
All CMS Q commands
LINK command
Acc  command 
 
All can prefixed with CMS
 
Line commands other than CC DD MM F/P

Dnn
TOP
BOT
UP nn
DOWN nn
 
I can send an AWS tape of current staus if anybody is interested?

I just tried the editor. Just for fun I entered CC on two lines in the
prefix area. Then TOP and BOT commands did nothing even when I removed
the CC from both places. But th PF7 and PF8 were still working.

I did add lines and delete lines with not trouble.

BTW, I would prefer to stick to Xedit standards where possible. So CC
should be followed by P or F, not A or B.

I am amazed at how far you have come in such a short time. Keep up the
good work -- it is much appreciated.
