thanks for the kudos Well the sabbath is a day of rest so I only worked 3 hiours today --- Not because I wanted to rest but wife want to talk to me once in a while -:) I'll ckek out what you are point ing to - Has lots of logicr problems converting to the new layout which Reall is an inprovement. Hercules question: This is the vanilla six pack just the way I downloaded it a month ago. I am not using the standard Hercules release but I picked up one from somewhere in the middle. No particular reason except that I fugured if there were any buigs in the original release tht were serious they got fixed right away 10:42:12.119 000018E8 HHCIN010I Hercules version (3.0.7.5930) 10:42:12.119 000018E8 HHCIN011I (c)Copyright 1999-2010 by Roger Bowler, Jan Jaeger, and others 10:42:12.119 000018E8 HHCIN012I Built on (May 4 2010) at (10:03:38) 10:42:12.119 000018E8 HHCIN013I Build information: 10:42:12.119 000018E8 HHCIN014I Windows (MSVC) build for i386 I HAVE DONE ABOSLUTELY ZERO CUSTOMIZATION and have been cocentrating on the application. but I keep getting thousands of messages in the LOG 11:07:09.820 000018E8 11:07:09.929 000018E8 11:07:10.226 000018E8 11:07:10.273 000018E8 11:07:10.445 000018E8 11:07:10.898 000018E8 11:07:11.132 000018E8 11:07:11.820 000018E8 11:07:12.163 000018E8 As you can see it comes out to 3 or 4 messages a second Comparing this to some other environments that I have working - Same build but different CONFIG files and different OS's I don' see that kindof activity on the LOG anywhere else. Why am I getting this? What CONFIG parms will get rid of it? This must be slowing the system down considerable and also may be a cause for the hangups. After all its only a small LAPTOP and I have three OS's and three HERCULES and three GUIS running on it simultaneously. Any ideas what parameters I need to change. I treied playing with CNF file and copy some stuff from a a different OS but I think I made it worse. No time to analyze this right now as I am really putting every minute into the Full Screen stuff Any Ideas appreciated.
