Convert 3370's to 3390's

Hello all, I have a funny question. How would you convert from 3370's to 3390's since you can't DDR to unlike devices? Sorry for the question, but the only thing I can come up with is set up a system from scratch and do cms copies. The system I'm running is VM/ESA 230 I don't even know if it supports 3390's. It might not, but what about 3350's of 3380's?
