RE: creating DASD

1. Mount the volume (devinit in herclules) at an address that's has the
proper type in DMKRIO. (watch out for -11)
2. Vary the volume on-line - Needs sutable priv class e.g.MAINT or OPERATOR
3. Attach the device to your user id - Needs suitable priv class e.g.MAINT
or OPERATOR
4. Access the device with a letter (see the CMS Command Reference for more
info GC20-1818)
5. Use LISTDS to see files on the device.
6. Use FILEDEF to set up OS DD statements and run programs against the files
(hint MOVEFILE  and PDS option if you want them on CMS DASD)

So you can actually re-assemble IFOX on VM using the MACLIBS while they are
still on the OS Volumes.
