You are again confusing the issue here!
 
Invalid command was issued by the application. Not by the system
 
The application owns the console and you can only issue commands that are
programmed
 
The only command that is currently programmed from the CONSOLE is EOJ
Which shuts down the system
 
The directions I posted very clearly state to leave the console disconnected
until you want to shut the application down
The console is used by all the users for entering CMS commands and getting
responsesd  to the interface.
 
You sitting on the console will stop the application.
You are effectivey pressing a STOP KEY
 
Ther is no BUG here and nothing that you can do on the console except stop
the application

The help text is in error (my fault). The syntax is
TERMINAL MORE nn mm
where nn is the number of seconds when the terminal beeps
and mm is the number of seconds later when the screen clears
