Thanks, I think.
I HX'ed a help command and it did return me to the CMS prompt.
However, when I tried to re-enter the command I got this:
DMSABN149T 175 (HEX 0000AF) DOUBLEWORDS OF SYSTEM STORAGE HAVE BEEN DESTROYED. R
E-IPL CMS.
CP ENTERED; DISABLED WAIT PSW '00020000 6001F0CE'
I re-IPLed and replicated the problem using HELP CMSCMDS.
I apologize if this is the wrong forum to post newbie CMS questions, I'll take any re-direction that anyone can provide.
Whether this particular item is a "newbie" or "buggy" question, I will let you all decide.
