Bob,

IMHO DMKRIO is perfect; the issues are the mods made to support 3278-4 (not supported in VANILLA VM/370).

If I define three 3278-2 terminals (C0-C1-C2) when I IPL I get C1 disabled (I have to ENA C1).

Sometimes I see a half VM/370 logo on C1 (supposed to be sent to a 3278-4 model) and it gets disabled; so it's a question of 3278-4 support.

Regards.
