The Assembler on the 6-pack has a mod to allow it assemble GCC. I used the source from the MVS Turnkey-2 to re-assemble it. The mods and the EXECs for this are here:- http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/H390-VM/files/GCCCMS/ in the ifmods.zip file. You can just mount the MVS pack on VM and read the source and macros direectly.
