OK, so can someone say if I did something wrong or is this an issue with how
DMKRIO was produced?

Clarification - the 3215 CMS console is line Mode - Diagnose 58 does not
support Full screen on release 6
But dialed SIO supports whatever it is programmed to support. Model 2 3 or 4

RUNGIC from CMSUSER
Then dial cmsuser

It will aslo support IND$FILE in CUT MODE --- Definitely a full screen app
